The plant has a processing capacity of over 3,500 tons per day, is located in Maccastorna (Lodi – Italy) in the South Adda Natural Parc.
The factory covers 135,000 m2 with a built area of about 22,000 m2 and it has been designed to streamline the flow and production processes according to hygiene, energetic and production requirements. This allows an advanced process in compliance with environmental sustainability.
Technological lines for juices, purée, and concentrates are composed of:
- systems of enzymatic de-activation cold/hot/warm break;
- turbo-refiner machinery with innovative system of tuning the angle of the paddles and the revolution speed;
- evaporation Plants Venus ® with a total capacity of evaporation of more than 100,000 liters of evaporated water per hour;
- 3 lines for pasteurization, cooling and aseptic filling with a capacity of 40 tonnes per hour
Technological lines for pulp and diced tomatoes consist of:
- 2 thermophysical peelers
- 3 dicer for cuts range from 9 x 9 to 19x19 mm
- 5 innovative electronic sorter machine
- 3 metal detectors,
- 3 dosage groups for ingredients pH regulation and salts addition
- 3 groups of pasteurization, cooling and aseptic filling with a capacity of 40 tonnes per hour
- 1 line for aseptic packaging in flexible pouches 3 and 5 kg for pulp, diced tomatoes, pizza topping and pizza sauce.
The technologies adopted are advanced and updated and the design allows a continuous and constant monitoring of process parameters to ensure product quality.
Process and flow control and enables the traceability of all production stages and of raw materials processed.
The computerized system of coding with bar-code, provided on the finished products, allows the transfer of all traceability information to our clients.
